Community Safety Policy

Lend Me only works if everyone keeps each other safe. The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and possible reporting to authorities: ACCOUNT HEALTH METER. Every member has two color-banded account-health meters — one for borrowing, one for lending — driven by ratings, completed transactions, and reliability: • Green (Healthy/Excellent, score 70+): no action required. • Amber (Caution, 55–69): a soft nudge to improve. No restrictions yet. • Orange (Warning, 35–54): a formal in-app warning is issued. You will be told exactly what to fix. • Red (Critical, below 35): a final notice is issued. If hard-trigger violations are also present (two or more forfeited deposits, three or more open reports in 60 days, or an average rating below 3.0 over 5+ reviews), the existing auto-suspension rule will suspend your account. Members may appeal a warning or suspension by opening a support ticket. Lend Me reserves the right to weight, recompute, or override health zones in cases of brigading, retaliation, or coordinated abuse. WHAT GETS YOU BANNED — QUICK LIST. Borrowers: late or no returns, undisclosed damage, fake IDs or insurance, refusing inspection or return photos, fraudulent disputes, sub-renting or reselling, harassment, off-platform routing, sharing another member's ID. Lenders: prohibited items, undisclosed damage, photo manipulation, false damage claims, off-platform payment, discrimination, missed handoffs, fake authenticity on Luxury items, retaliatory reviews, vehicles without insurance. Both: account sharing or ban-evasion, tampering with Asset Tag QR codes, bypassing verification or health gates, anything illegal. Sex work, prostitution, escort services, pornography, or any adult sexual services, content, or material — solicitation of any of the above is also strictly prohibited
Anything involving minors or children as the item, model, or service
Human trafficking, smuggling, or coerced labor of any kind
Lending of money, cash, gift cards, crypto, or any monetary instrument
Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or any weapon
Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
Motor vehicles without valid insurance that includes uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage
Stolen goods or items you do not legally own or have the right to lend
Counterfeit, trademark-infringing, or recalled products
Services that require state licensing without proof of license (medical, legal, financial/tax advice, in-home childcare, armed security, rideshare-for-hire)
