Lend Me collects the information you provide when you create an account (legal name, email, date of birth, city), the photos and details you put on listings, the messages you send through the platform, and any identification or insurance documents you upload as part of onboarding or to publish a vehicle listing.
Identification and insurance documents are stored in private, owner-only buckets and are used only to verify your identity and the validity of your insurance. They are never shown publicly on the site and are never shared with other users.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting the platform owner. Some records may be retained where required by law or for fraud prevention.
WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
Lend Me does not sell, rent, license, or trade your personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or any third party for marketing. We do not build advertising profiles from your account, your listings, your messages, or your verification documents. We do not share your identification, insurance, address, or payment details with other users.
We use limited service providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, identity verification, fraud detection, anti-spam such as CAPTCHA) only so the platform can function. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to deliver their service to us and to keep it confidential.
SECURE TRANSACTIONS.
All transactions and traffic on Lend Me are protected end-to-end:
• HTTPS/TLS encryption is enforced on every page, with HSTS preloading.
• Payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor — full card numbers never touch our servers.
• Refundable deposits are held in a segregated holding account and released back to the borrower, not commingled with operating funds.
• Identity documents, insurance proofs, and authenticity proofs live in private storage buckets that only the document owner (and our review team, when you submit it for review) can read.
• In-app voice and video calls are peer-to-peer (WebRTC) and are not recorded by Lend Me.
• We continuously scan for suspicious sign-ins, scraping, and fraud, and we ban accounts that try to move money or deals off-platform.
YOUR CHOICES.
• You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or request deletion at any time from /support.
• You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at /unsubscribe.
• You can disable in-app calls by simply not initiating or accepting them — phone numbers are never shared by Lend Me.
